Hooah!

Florida Community College at Jacksonville offers Army National Guard service members regionally accredited education anywhere worldwide.

Once you're ready to get started and complete your degree, we have advisors to help. To contact an advisor, send us an e-mail, or give us a call at 877.633.5950.

The Military Education Institute offers a variety of degree programs for members stationed anywhere in the world. There are a variety of online degree and certificate programs available as well as on site programs for soldiers stationed right here in Jacksonville.

SOCGUARD is the Servicemembers Opportunity Colleges (SOC) degree program for the Army National Guard. Once you start your degree or certificate program with Florida Community College, this agreement will allow you to transfer your credits from one institution to another and will serve as your agreement with the College for degree or certificate completion. To request a SOC agreement, click here for more information or contact Chalah Harris at 904.632.5016.

To help you get started, Florida Community College offers the following services:

  • Accelerated Degree Programs
For students who are interested in maximizing their time to degree completions, these accelerated degree programs are designed with you in mind.
  • Dedicated Military Advisors
When you call or e-mail one of the MEI advisors, you'll be getting educational advice from advisors who are familiar with military transfer credit and the obligations of the service member.
  • Degree Roadmaps
These roadmaps are designed to show you how to maximize the college credit you've earned in the military. By following the roadmap that matches your MOS, you'll see what you've already earned toward a specific degree.
  • Online Student Services
Artemis is your virtual portal to registering for classes, viewing your grades, getting a degree audit, paying for your classes, and much more.
  • University Transfer Agreements
Once you've completed your degree, Florida Community College has negotiated transfer agreements with four year universities and colleges. By taking advantage of these agreements, you'll be able to transfer as a junior.

Note: You are not required to transfer to one of these schools. Talk to your advisor about all of your transfer options.
